I highly recommend sending in a BBB complaint. I JUST received a $10 gift certificate from newegg almost certaintly because of the complaint. Very glad to see they followed through, but leaves a bad taste in my mouth having to fight for it. Still worth it though!

I won a $10 gift certificate/promo code through Newegg's mobile "Golden Egg" sweepstakes. Immediately I received an email containing the winning code. I went to place an order that same hour and I receive the message: "The promo code XXXXXXXXXXX has been closed and is no longer active". I started an online chat and was told that Newegg has shut down that code, at the least temporarily likely from funds being depleted. I would like a valid promo code that I was told I won.

Complaint Summary
I won a $10 promo code but it will not work for me. Newegg refuses to credit or provide a valid code.


Resolution Sought
I would Like Newegg to credit my account $10, or provide me with a $10 gift certificate or VALID promo code.
