2 pack Foscam FI8910W Wireless/Wired Pan&Tilt IP Network Camera - White - $147.99 @Amazon

Has anyone looked at the reviews on amazon of this. Half on them look fake with people saying the same exact thing. Almost every good review says that the customer service is great and they list some techs full name. Just very weird. But havent used these cameras before but seems like a great deal.

Does this support viewing the camera over Ssl?

If buying for stealth night-time use, avoid white cameras. They bleed the LED light in the base and will blow your cover

Does your PC have to be turned on to monitor the camera? Or will it work on its own connected to the network?

I'd be using this via my iPhone while away from home, so would rather have the PC turned off.

The PC does not need to be left on.
You can see in this video that after the initial setup, it was unplugged from the network and connected using Wireless.

This video also has a step by step instructions on how to set it up for the iPhone.
