Any instant coffee isn't going to live up to the real thing, but these are far and away better than any other instant coffee I've tried. We have a Flavia machine at work, and the VIA is definitely better (but, hey, the Flavia is free, so I'm not complaining.) When at home I brew my own coffee, but if I'm out camping, VIA is perfect.

For anyone worried about the expiration, I had some packets that were over a year past their expiration date and they tasted fine and I had no ill effects.

But, it appears this deal is dead anyway...

Yep, now that it's back to the regular price on Amazon, it's even cheaper at Starbucks.com. $29.52 on Amaozn, $28.95 on Starbucks...both free shipping.

These are supposedly a strong brew, I would say they are slightly stronger, depends on your preference if you notice a difference I suppose, they are my favorite of the Vias but I like my coffee like I like my men, strong and dark ( just kiddin) but I do like my coffee strong and these are the best instant other than organic in my opinion because of the microground I think.
