It will when they re-farm the AT&T spectrum and if you live in one of those areas of course.
As someone currently using an iPhone 4 on T-Mobile (it only uses the EDGE speeds. You have to turn off 3G for it to work), you pretty much can't search websites at all unless you're standing still and even then it will take awhile to load. Lighter apps like Twitter aren't too bad with the Edge speeds.
I can't wait until the re-farm. There are tons of nice phones that T-Mobile doesn't get and even for phones like the Galaxy S3 they seem to charge their customers more than other companies.
i'd rather get a galaxy nexus, even if it were the same price (its not though, its only $350). I prefer a pure android experience and day one updates from google. Jelly bean trumps the faster processer and camera. I see how the camera may be important but I don't see the point of a faster processor. You're not going to turn your phone into a server. Besides, what kind of apps can the S3 play that the nexus can't? Just my $0.02
Isn't adroid linux based? You can run a virtual machine on your PC and have full linux (ubuntu) to play with.
AT&T sucks. I want the international Quad core version.
2GB is overkill.
I prefer 2GB. Even on the Quad core tablet likes Nexus 7. If I have many tabs open on the browser and I open any heavy app, Android will kill the browser to free up memory. Doesn't happen on the tmo S3.
