If you figure in cashback, this is actually a pretty good deal, even in comparison to the Newegg deal.
Newegg: $169.14 - 2.6% cashback (best that I could find for eggy) = $164.74 TigerDirect: $179.99 - 6% cashback (best that I could find for TD) = $169.19 Final price difference: $4.45 So TD's higher cashback rate makes a nice dent. Yes, the Newegg deal was better, but I couldn't get it.

The only big difference is the Controller. If you are OK with Sandforce go for the Sandisk. The Quality of the toggle Nand should be equal because they both manufacture it and they use the best for themselves. |

I have this one in my desktop and I love it. Wish I'd waited a few more days, just bought the Transcend one from Amazon Gold Box for my MacBook but I like Samsung more.

those who got the $10 off email from discover, you might use for this SSD bringing it down to $170 - $9 = $161.

awesome, thanks op! been looking for the 830 for a little while now. I know it'll probably be cheaper on BF but I'd rather just pay more now and get my build over with
now.. bite or wait and see if more preferable vendors match..? |
