Nah, you can never foolproof things enough. GoPro has been around for a while and their ads are all over the media; TV, billboards, internet, magazines, let alone SD. If you haven't paid attention to it yet then you're not curious enough as your "intriguing" is trying to describe. Even old ladies know about it already... ohh... oops! Sorry.

There's a million brand names out there. Should every title on SD include a description so you don't waste your time?

Don't forget these cameras are buggy as hell. Just bought on last week and the thing didn't turn on right out of the box. But if your one of the lucky ones to get a good one going for more than a couple of months these cams are awesome.

So you report your ONE incident of getting a lemon and now all of a sudden GoPro's are "buggy as hell"? You getting one bad unit does not make them all buggy as hell. Given how popular these are and how many of them they sell I wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple of bad ones out there but I'm willing to bet there are a lot more customers who are extremely happy with their product.

Not many people are in the market for these? Perhaps you don't ride bikes, cars, go kayaking, snowboarding, skiing, surf, skateboard, jet skiing, boating, mountain climbing, you name it any sport. These along with the Contour cameras have gained a lot of popularity within the past 1-2 years. That's why you see so many youtube videos of people doing outdoors sports. If you haven't heard of GoPro or Contour you probably don't do enough outdoor sports activities.
