These are likely not official Furminators. I bought one from Amazon awhile ago at a similar price from a third party seller and it came wrapped in a plastic bag. However, I compared it to a storebought one and it functioned just as well, so while not official, these are still very good.

"Furminators" can be bought in bulk from China online and it is likely what these third party sellers did:

Man these things are ~$40 in Petsmart.

I saw the idea and converted on of my old shavers into one of these. Its essentially the same thing as the shaving head of any hair cutting device.

Works well with my long haired fur ball cat.

Great deal. Thanks. They work better than any other brush or shedding tool. Stick to the med size. My German Shephard sheds in clumps, and looked bad until we stared using the Furminator. Now he looks good and the hairballs in the house are minimal. Of course we use the Furminator at the local dog park.

I usually use it weekly, occasionally twice a week.
