Forget the rest of the keyboards, the blue cooler master for 58 or Razer Blackwidow for 66 are the best deals. I have a blackwidow ultimate, same keyboard but with lighting. I've had it for over a year. Great keyboard.

While it is my personal opinion, I thumbs up this deal for the corsair k60 @ $72. I traded my k60 for a week to my friend with a razer blackwidow ultimate just to try it, and at the end of the week we both agreed the k60 was the superior keyboard! He loves his backlighting but about a week later he bought a k90 (which has the backlighting) and sold the razer on ebay.

I also own the rosewill mx brown keyboard and still rank the k60 above it.

I got the sidewinder x4 for $40.xx, been waiting on some type of a deal for that keyboard.

Hopefully I won't be sorry for not getting a mechanical keyboard, but the x4 has solid reviews, and I don't game all the time, so typing all that... we'll see how it goes

What specifically about the corsair k60 makes it superior to the razer? Doesn't the k60 have keys that are not mechanical and don't the letters fade?

Also, looking at it, it is cherry red switches which would not be acceptable for many and not really directly comparable to the razer's blue switches.

Most gamers agree that reds are ideal for gaming and blues are the worst. Both of course are better than rubber dome. As for keys fading, I don't have that problem, nor do I care - I know how to type without looking at keys. Some of the keys on the k60 are rubber dome, but not any keys that you use during gaming. The rubber domes are the F keys and the delete block, all others are cherry red. Considering all factors the k60 is just vastly superior in my opinion. Brushed aluminum, cherry reds, media control keys, usb hub all for $72 at today's price at newegg. Great deal.

With ca tax, still comes out to $44 for the Sidewinder x4 on Newegg. Regular price is $47 on Amazon. So $3 price difference isn't too hot. When are we going to see a fat sale next?!

Delete is used to switch on/off multifire in SubSpace/Continuum

Got the cooler master quick fire pro with brown switches for 72.24. Worst case scenario it sucks I can return it with shop runner.

That is an awesome keyboard and I do love the brown switches. A word of warning however, that Newegg charges 15% restocking fee. I really wanted the quick fire pro for a long time but could not swallow the price. I ordered the trigger today (go figure) which is not as good of a deal but the free mouse pad made it hurt less. Total for me came out to $110 with tax and free shipping from Shoprunner. Hopefully the $10 MIR for the mouse pad and the $10-20 dollar value has made my purchase a decent buy. I have not clue why I was not ok with shelling out 85 for a keyboard but am now buying a 110 dollar one

The Sidewinder x4 is actually one of the best keyboards I've ever gotten. Typing on the keys is so very nice compared to my last few keyboards (sailtek and Logitech g5 etc). It definitely took awhile to get used to though - the keys are a bit smaller.

Those concerned with ghosting in keyboards - you can literally press 26 keys at once. I haven't seen a keyboard that I could do the good old W+D+SHIFT+CTRL+Space combo for awhile now. I'd gladly pay $60.
