have to agree there, unless you are in desperate need of HP Ink for real, no reason to do the deal. The rewards back don't even come close to covering the OOP spend on the ink. |

spend= $50 Receive= (5*$6)+(15*$2)+(10% back)=65 Regular back= 20*2=$40 Bonus= $25 So, it's half price ink, especially to those who didn't stock up on B2G1 last month. |

the triple recycling is so not worth it .. just reading the title I got excited about $50 spend and $120 rewards. But after reading on .. its meh!!

no great shakes really, premier or not, you're still paying $25-30 for the ink vs it being totally free for premier when it's limit 20 carts at $4 a pop (double ink deal) as I said, if you really need the ink anyway, it's ok, if you don't skip this promo. wait for the $4 per cart/limit 20 premier deal on HP $50+ spend. |

I totally forget...In the past did they used to double the limit of 5, i.e. 10. on triple ink recycling rewards for premier members?

To qualify, must buy $50 of ink...for me that is HP 38. Staples per cartridge price = $38.99 Spend to qualify = $78.98 Best price available online (Amazon) per cartridge = $19.95 Spend on the same two cartridges = $29.90 Extra money spent to qualify for Staples program = $49 Less Bonus as calculated above = $25 Net Loss = $24 Taxes were not taken into account, but results won't change much. Also, it depends on what ink you need and what the best market price is for that. In this case, I am better off just cashing in the cartridges at regular value and buy the ink elsewhere. If Staples did not limit to five, it would have more than made up the difference in price. |
