What's the best router out that supports ddwrt or tomato?

The router was about $20 cheaper when this coupon code first came out. Newegg quickly bumped up the price. I was too slow pulling the trigger. I haven't bought it at this price because I'm still pouting. I probably will before the end of the month (I think that's when the coupon expires).

I could not pull the trigger either. Waiting for some sort of promotion on this from Asus since their AC model is out.

Just wanted to comment that this is one wicked router. I bought one to replace my E3000, which was working just fine BUT it couldn't handle the FiOS connection I have (150/65). I know it was the router because when I used the Verizon supplied router, I got full speed, but when I put the E3000 behind the ONT, I could only pull about 130/65 at most. Bought this after reading reviews and was able to max out the connection. I highly recommend it!

the N66U pulls about 10watts from the wall which is more than i would like for a 24/7 device
