How would you compare this to the Sony RX 100?

I'm seriously thinking about this. I found there are many occasion where my 5DM2+24-105L is way too intrusive.... and my S95 isn't cutting it anymore....

Thank you - how is the quality in low light? would you compare it to the G12 at all?

People would compare G12 to S95/S100. They have the same sensor and similar picture quality. The G12 is obviously larger, but has more features. With the recent combo slickdeal (a little over $200 after selling the printer), I think it was the best deal for a casual camera.

The RX100 is better than the G12 in all reviews. However, it is also much more expensive, Its claim to fame is that it is the new "pocketable" king. (it used to be S95/S100). There is also much hype because it is not a Canon...
