Gateway 15.6" LED Dual Core, 4GB DDR3, 500GB HDD, Laptop $299.99 @ Target

I just bought this laptop tonight, and convinced my Father to buy it as well. I was a little thrown off by one of the posts in this thread saying ACER Gateway, but after going to the store I see there is an Acer Aspire, AND this Gateway for the same price. I compared the specs and went with the Gateway one.

While I know my HP is outdated, for the price I paid at the time, 300.00 for the new laptop is a steal. If you are looking for a knock around laptop to do typical everyday stuff, I say pull the trigger. Thanks guys for posting this. My Father 1,800 miles away can now see his grand daughter, and son!
