whats up with the Hertz website? I cant even bring up reservations

$28.49/day for me. My AAA discount was better.

Taxes/Fees @ major airports kill the deal.

I know it depends on where you live and the hours are limited, but the off airport locations are much much much cheaper. They are all closed Sundays but even paying for an extra day is cheaper than renting form the airport. That is if you are leaving from home on a trip and not flying somewhere. There are usually locations near airports, you could probably arrange a pick up from Hertz.


Just a personal preference to make my personal car last longer. I easily save 5,000 miles per year on my personal car by renting cars. I travel mostly for my college's football games. I easily will put 13,000 miles this year just on commuting to/from work. I own so I can't easily move, not to mention who knows how long I'll be at this job.

Awesome! Was looking for a good, cheap rental for my trip to San Francisco at the end of September. Pick up at my hotel, drop off at airport, Sat-Mon $38 for a Chevy Aveo!
