It's unclear where anybody ever got the idea that a free market results in low prices when the entire point of capitalism is to maximize profit and low prices are less profitable. Therefore the natural proclivity should be to collude and fix prices at the highest sustainable point.
Oh, it's illegal to collude and fix prices and whatnot as deemed by the gubmint? Who are they to say how a free market should work when it's a matter of divinity per Adam Smith whose book nobody bothered to read? |

The OP and his supporters on this thread pretty much prove they dont knew anything about police work or this specific incident. Fact is NY cops have less bad shootings and beatings than places with keystone cops like Los Angeles.
The cops involve in this shooting had intensive training through the FBI ant-terrorism program, they were part of one of the most elite best trained squads of any PD nationally no one with a carry permit whcih is usually pretty low amount of training shoudl be second geussing them, especially when you go back and look at their initial postings and we see they all got the shooting and the facts wrong. It The cops did exactly what all National polcie training programs advise in the face of an armed subject who has already shot someone on the street, and where no cover was available for the arresting officers. |

What I said, and what you seem totally unaware of is that officers of the court and law enforcement officers have different set of laws and regulations regarding their responsibility to arrest or intervene in a crime and as well as different tests should anyone be harmed when they do so. Why don't you look up some basic US legal cites on things like citizens arrests etc. LEO personnel and citizens have a very different set of rules. The CWW person has the ability to intervene, but not the obligation, and according to all US law higher tests and more criminal liability. More important, a CWW cant identify themselves as a police officer and does not have the same amount of training in assessing the likelihood of the perpetrator having committed the crime. The average CWW has no experience in the evidence tests for example, Why is that relevant, well because if I am a third party in your scenario, and see you, (a well meaning CWW person in your scenario) shooting the perpetrator, and I not having seen the first shooting, turn and raise my gun at you and order not to fire at the murderer, and you respond by starting to bring your weapon to bear on me, you are saying I can legally shoot you. Right? What is interesting is you say you are CWW, and some CWW people here have claimed that CWW are as well or better trained than the cops, you you have no idea whatsoever of the actual laws and why they are there. |
