nope, internet only. she tried selling me turbo for $5 more for 12 months, but I specifically asked for a free upgrade for 6 months. i think mentioning fios was key though.

btw, i just learned that standard is $52/mo after the 12-month new customer promo period. does anyone know if they easily extend that or you're basically stuck with the new price?

TWC will start charging $4/month to rent modems starting next month:

Awesome just called Time Warner Retention. Couldn't get a better package deal as what I have now is better than new customer deals, but guy mentioned my internet was only 10mbs and said he could hook up turbo free for 6 months. I'll take it!

i picked up a Motorola SB6141 SurfBoard Cable Modem SB 6141 Docsis 3.0 from ebay and the speed increase was noticeable. Still having problems connecting it to my router but will sit down and figure it out when i have a chance.

I just sign up for internet service. Let me try my luck and see if I can get a free upgrade to Turbo. Anyone got the number to retention? I keep getting customer service and they don't have authorization to do anything.

just called about turbo and it took awhile and at first they only gave me $5 for 6 months of turbo but i mentioned FIOS and magically they were able to give it to me (FIOS really is that fast)... $9.95 a month afterwards but will call again in 6 months... didnt seem like i got retention even though i went to cancel

Doh just upgraded to 50meg last month. Free upgrade to 20 would have been nice, but these speeds are ridiculous http://imm.io/KrpU
