Folks, this Blu-ray box is a Smart App, no frills, begin of the line model. It's only wired ethernet and is NOT as robust as some of the other LG or Sony models. It's serviceable if you want something for your kids, a quick fix for Blu-ray for a TV, or just something for Netflix that is NOT a PS3.

It's light, sleek, and bottom rung as far as tech goes so don't expect much from it.

I would advise against LG players for the time being, they are very buggy and each firmware update seems to screw something else up. I really regret getting rid of my Sony player in order to get a LG player. The Netflix interface is pretty crappy on these as well.

For the time being, Sony and Panasonic seem to make the best players with Internet apps. The Toshiba interface is nice, but their support for players is pretty much non-existent, and they are very poorly made.

Wait for a deal to pop up on a refurb Sony if you are wanting a decent player at a good price.

Think you missed my point. I was saying everyone should own powerline for many reasons, so you dont have to spend extra on every device that comes through just to get wireless access.

So if you already own powerline then this is a slick deal, if you dont then its still a slick deal but for only buyers that dont need network or have wired access.

Either way powerline is cheap enough that everyone should own one that likes techy things.
