Quote : Performance And ConclusionThe bass lacks depth but sounds rather strong, especially with very bass-heavy tracks. However, the mids have an average presentation with these 'buds. While male voices are fine, female voices sound rather distant. The high notes are rather good but it misses the extreme high-end sparkle. The sound staging was a surprise. It felt rather expansive compared with similar earbuds. It is still of a closed-back design but it didn't sound overly boxed-in, and worked well with our selection of live concert recordings. Ultimately at S$38, the CKL200 is more of a budget pair of in-ear headphones. We can live with the rather boomy sound quality and stiff cable quality, but the biggest issue is probably the color choice. Then again, not many manufacturers offer decent headphones in more than 10 colors. |
