samsung PN50C7000YF 50" question

darock933 195 108 August 27, 2012 at 12:25 PM
I am sorry if this shouldn't go here but I have a question about buying a used plasma tv.

Locally there is a used Samsung PN50C7000YF for sale for $800. This is a 2010 50" model with 3D, 600Hz and 1080p. Sale includes tv, bluray dvd player and 2 glasses. Is this a good deal?

Here's a link to a cnet review: http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-pane...05781.html

Any advice is definitely appreciate. Thanks in advance!

thats way to high for a used tv, even with the BR player. Look around there are 50" plasmas for about 1000 new. Look at some of the LED tv's as well(lower power consumption). For the extra 200 you have a new model with warranty.

I got the PN51D6500 for $780 shipped in March...51" plasma, 3D, 1080p, SmartTV, etc.

Picked up 2 pairs of Samsung brand glasses brand new for $20 each on Amazon.

...so I was at $820 for the TV and glasses.

Definitely think $800 is too much for a used, 2 year old model.

If you refer to your husband/wife as 'DH/DW', you're too old to be active on a forum.

If you ask for marriage advice on a(ny) forum, you should seriously reevaluate your life.

If you don't know the difference between 'their', 'there', and 'they're', I automatically assume you have a mental disability (same goes for to/two/too and your/you're/yore).

Not a good deal, I would agree the price is too high for a 2 year old model.

Neither of those are 3D and the 720p model is from 2009...not really comparable IMO.
