If you want to be correct it's a vibrato bar. I actually like the Floyd Rose but 75% of the time I play a fixed bridge. Yes it's a pain to setup, change strings on and there are much better incarnations of it but it was a ground breaker. There are plenty of interviews with Eddie VanHalen bitching about his early guitar, pre FR. Brass nuts, over sized string paths and 3 in 1 Oil. I've always wanted to try the Jeff Beck Strat where they put little ball bearings in the nut, I imagine it didn't workout well since it never caught on. I wish the DBZ Bird of Prey would go on sale... That Axe looks AWESOME. As for the quality, I have no idea... Should look into it before Slickdeals gets one for me

I bought a dbz guitar on another slickeal and its great...definatly worth picking up for these prices..plays like a $700-$800 guitar..the necks are awesome and the construction is sound...it is set up great out of the box, action and whatnot...the trem holds excellent tune when locked down, dive and pull to your hearts desire... |

I am actually selling my DBZ Barchetta with hard case for $200 on ebay (you can search if your interested). It is a really nice guitar for the money, I doubt you can find better. I'm only selling because I found a used Ibanez S series I have been wanting at a local sam ash and I talked to guy down to $260 on it and couldn't pass it up. I don't need three guitars with floyd roses on them.
But yeah, DBZ makes some nice guitars especially for the price. And the case is quality also. |
