Added the $400 Rebate Form that have field so you can fill it out digitally. --xXBORISXx
-"All required information on the claim form must be hand printed; no mechanical reproductions or labels will be accepted." ?????

REBATE PROCESS

CUT OUT THE BARCODES COMPLETELY. YOU MUST HAVE A HOLE WHERE THE UPC BARCODE ONCE WAS.

1. Camera box: Cut the UPC barcode on the side of the box which includes 3 serial numbers. Cut the UPC barcode on the INSIDE of the camera box just as you open the top flap. You only need the UPC on the side (~1.75 x 0.75 inches)
2. Printer box: Cut the large UPC barcode on the side of the box should be about 3.5 x 3.5 inches 1.75 x 0.75 inches. It has a dotted line around it and says PROOF OF PURCHASE
3. ASAVINGS IS MAILING OUT A NEW INVOICE TO REFLECT THE INDIVIDUAL PRICED ITEMS AND NOT THE CURRENT BUNDLE where everything is marked 0.00. WAIT A FEW DAYS BEFORE SENDING IN THE REBATE! Or if you have already mailed your rebate in, be prepared to scan the updated invoice from asavings to your computer so that you can supplement the rebate when you talk to customer service at the rebate center.
4. Circle date of purchase + purchase prices. Remember to fill in printer serial #. Note: "All required information on the claim form must be hand printed." Tape barcodes to rebate form just to make sure they see it
5. Use at least 2 stamps (if not getting certified mail at USPS) or use Paypal Ship Now to get delivery confirmation/tracking for $1.64 (and write the address again on the envelope, just in case, since paypal messes up the name field)

Update: proof of new invoice from asavings:
http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h1...w/DSC00606.jpg

received the updated invoice from asavings today. (monday) so users reporting that asvaings did send an invoice on friday would be accurate.

edit: http://cogdogblog.com/2010/04/18/canon-rebate-hell/
what happens if you don't follow rebate procedure.

edit: added invoice

edit: If you had program violation because you didn't submit itemized receipt then fax it to 901-345-8812 with the letter that was sent in the mail from ACB. They completed my audit in couple of hours after sending the fax, no need to send it by mail.
edit: If you had program violation because you didn't submit itemized receipt you CAN e-mail it. Use the "reference number" from the top left of your notification letter as your email subject, attach your scan and mail to canonrebates@acbcoop.com

Did you have two different addresses to claim two rebates? It says limit one per household.

First time poster, long time lurker.

Can anyone tell me if this deal is still available? It is quite confusing. ShouldI go to amazon, asavings, b&h, or beach camera?

These rebates are still around and the printers and cameras are still around, but I dont think I can get it for $400 any longer because the prices have raised on all authorized sites offering the rebates?

My wife's birthday is coming up and althogh we dont need a printer, it would be highly worth it.

Thank you in advance! Love slickdeals!!

You can transfer using Amazon Payments. You can transfer to your friend/anyone, and ask them to send the money to you. Thats what I did.

It didn't work for me. I called twice. They are not cancelling check as it is a MIR gift card.

Weird. I better call and check the status then. The CSR told me the check would arrive within 20 days.

Also I just have to say that this was one sweet deal. I ended getting a free camera, printer and made a couple of bucks too. It's going down in the history books for me.
