Just out of curiosity -- I was looking at my rep points -- and there are like 6 users who gave me rep but no points given? How does it decide when or when not to increase points?

If a user has less than 50 posts, then their reps will not give you points yet. Those will show up with a little gray icon to the left of their comment. Reps from users with more than 50 posts will give you points, and will show the little green icon.

For an explanation point levels (whether someone's rep is worth 0, 1, 2, etc points), see this post that's linked in the OP of this thread.

Edit: I see you also posted a separate thread for this and Schooby answered it there, with that paricular thread being a Chat thread, so the reps don't increase your points

Hi, I'm newly registered here, but I have been following this site for quite some time now. I would like to say thank you to everyone here for keeping up with the great deals and making sure they are legitimate and not scams. It is nice to know that you can go to a site and find all the deals without worrying if half of them are just ploys to get your information. This is certainly a great community and I cannot wait to get started.

Any ideas what does the color of these tiny boxes next to the rep points mean? For some users I see different shades of green, for some blue and so on. Thanks.

0-9 - red
10-499 - green
500-999 - bright green
1000 -1999 - blue
2000 - 2999 - bright blue
3000 - 4999 - ugly yellow
I think 5000 is purple .... up to 9,999
10,000 - a brighter purple

I've looked but can't find an answer to this. On the hot deals page, I'm able to save a certain filtering options. When I want to load that, I can just go to the "Load from Preferences" dropdown list. Is there a way I can deleted a filtering option from that dropdown list?

I just tried it and it worked for me. I set up a couple of dislikes, saved, then went back to FP, did the drop down and set them back to neutral and saved again.
