I was wondering about the post bar under a users name. I think the blue one filled up at about 6000 posts, but when does the green one begin? Couldnt find anything in the FAQ about it.

That should be in the FAQ if it isnt.

That info is for the image next to reputation, it has nothing to do with the post bar

Yes I realize that, but both that info and the post bar info should be in the FAQ along with the other post count and rep info.

Hi MrsH and welcome to SD

To post a thread, click on the New Thread button that's at the top left of whichever forum you want to post in. Fill in your post details (title, details of the deal including link to item, price, store name, specs if any, etc) and when finished, you can then preview it first (to make sure it looks ok or you didn't leave anything out, etc), or just hit the submit button. One thing, though, is please make sure you do a site search first, to make sure that the deal you want to post has not already been posted.

Searched but got 0 results.
Is it possible to sort the comments with the earliest date first (like it used to be ) instead of the last comment first? The problem is getting to the link for a deal which is always the oldest comment and we have to go thru pages of junk just to get the link.

Hello,

I just made a new name Plexicle. I was excited to check out SD, I've heard a lot of great things. I asked a general question about where I might post how to sell something in the Off-topic lounge, this was my first post.

I was instantly permanently banned and there was no reason given. Can someone help me understand why this happened? I'm gathering what I asked for might have been against the rules, but I would have happily deleted it myself and not asked again if just given some direction. I looked at several of the rules posts, too.

Are permanent bans this common? I'm really confused here.

Thanks. Didn't realize the "new SD front page" changes affected some of the settings also.

They didn't. That setting affects comments, and the replies to FP deals are comments

That setting is also a stock vbulletin setting, so it's been there for years
