I suppose they can. Yes Ive seen the 28-300mm its only ok and better still better than the 18-200mm, so if Im dropping a grand on a body Im going to be using some good glass. But I guess the spend more money on glass than the body theory doesnt make sense to a lot of people

But Im guessing most people will be selling the 18-200mm to lower the price of the body
