3D Blu-Ray movies, 3D Blu-Ray player and non 3D TV. Will it play?
I do not have a 3D TV but have 3D movies that I have not opened from their package. Will the Panasonic DMP-BDT210 Integrated-Wi-Fi 3D Blu-ray DVD Player play the 3D movie on a TV that is not 3D?TIA. Last edited by Behave; 08-28-2012 at 06:36 PM.. |

No. The bluray player and the TV can "communicate" with each other so the bluray player will "know" you do not have a 3D TV.
On another note, if you are worried about those movies being useless to you, you should check if they come with the 2D version. I only have on 3D bluray and that movie came with the 2D version as well. |

I believe you will just see the same movies on split screen side(for left eye) by side(for right eye) playing...
or 2 pictures up and down... |

Your best bet is to go into the Menu for the Panasonic 3D Blu-ray player and turn off the 3D features so it will play in 2D. Most 3D movies are bundled with a 2D BR or DVD so you should be covered either way.

It won't show in 3d but it can play in 2d I think.
