It depends on how you shop. If you're buying a nice record player from someone that knows what they have, then it could be a lot. Otherwise, if you are at a garage sale and happen across someone's amazing old turntable that belonged to their grandfather and they have no idea what they're sitting on, you could pay less than you would for a happy meal. If you do buy used, I'd recommend some google searching to find out how to check one, which are good ones, etc. If you want new and cheap, these are good brands, I'm particularly partial to Audio Technica out of the list: http://best-turntables.com/best-t...under-100/
