Kmart - Nintendo 3DS XL + $40 Gaming Coupon (9/2 - 9/8) -- $199.99

I was able to grab last one at clearwater fl (us19). But it took 25 mins before someone showed up at the electronics dpt.
Only pb my nephew was asking for the blue one and it is the red one....

Wondering if I return it , if I can keep the coupon.

The screens are bigger but they also are easier on the eyes. I think there's something like 10% glare reduction or something. The lighting feels more evenly distributed as well, at least to me. It's ergonomically better with rounded corners. The inside of the unit also has a matte finish, which adds even more to the 'easier on the eyes' feeling. The whole unit feels more cohesive, rather than looking like it's made out of a bunch of different types and layers of plastic. The hinge has a couple more degrees of articulation, though I just stick to the regular angle to play games on. The d-pad feels a lot better, and the shoulder buttons feel softer as well. The stylus is now more conveniently placed on the right side of the system. The battery life is definitely noticeable, as I now feel encouraged to keep wifi on to see when friends are on, or to use StreetPass with my girlfriend. You wouldn't think the bigger screen would have such an impact...but for me, I have a hard time going back. It's just way, way easier to see.

The only negative about it so far is that it sounds a little quieter. It's not a deal breaker, but it's enough to be noticeable. Actually, it might not be quieter, but it feels quieter because the system is larger.

Regarding this KMart deal - I had some trouble today trying to redeem Mario Kart 7. The Gift Card is for gaming purchases $40 and up. Mario Kart 7 is $39.99. As such, the coupon wasn't activating. We tried putting some gum in the transaction to put the total over $40. Didn't work. I came back with a 3DS case, and before I did, the guy was like "Well, we could just raise the price of the game by a penny." In my head, all I was thinking was..."WHY DIDN'T YOU THINK OF THIS 15 MINUTES AGO." I have no idea if they were allowed to do what they did, but thankfully they bumped up the game to $40 ("As long as you don't mind spending the extra penny", they said), and I got out of there with a free copy of Mario Kart 7 for the girlfriend.
