Per the below CNN article they don't have any like other states do but I'm not from New York (5th paragraph on the link), here in Texas they had it a couple of weeks ago.

New York was the first state to offer a sales-tax holiday in 1997 in an effort to stop residents from traveling to nearby states to buy tax-free clothing, said Joseph Henchman, the vice president of state projects at the Tax Foundation. The plan didn't offer any substantial relief to the state or shoppers, he said, and New York has not held an official sales-tax holiday since 2006 (though clothing and footwear sold within the state is currently always sales tax-exempt for items up to $110).

I play Starcraft 2 on low settings on this laptop.

Received yesterday. Looks new and unused. Only imperfection are scuff marks on the glossy keyboard bezel. Looks like scuff marks are not from use but from imperfection during manufacturing. All other aspects of the laptop are like new. Already installed OS and using it now. COA seems to activate fine. Nice for the price. Anyone knows how to check warranty from Samsung? Sale date on bios says 6/21/12.

I got two. Both of mine came the same way - new and un-used. Pretty sweet deal to me.

Even better yet, I got the 17 inch Samsung deal that was frontpage like a month prior to this. I sold off that 17 inch laptop for a little profit (the laptop was too big for me), but my SSD that was in it, i put in this 15 inch laptop and it worked perfectly!!! I checked and everything is the same down to the drivers! Awesomeeee.
