I own two of these, for the kitchen and guest room. Both will be 2-years-old in November. They were an impulse buy because the price was so good at the before Black Friday sale at WalMart. Pre Black Friday sale price was $197. With tax and extended warranty (I'd heard Vizio had issues) they were out the door for $250 each.
The kitchen tv has had heavy use without problems. The guest room tv is used lightly but regularly by the kids for DVD and games. Both have surprising picture quality. Everyone who comes in the kitchen comments on the beautiful picture and then expresses shock that the TV is a cheapie and a Vizio. I'm not sure if I got 1080p by accident or what but these were well worth the money. If the price was right I'd buy Vizio again. I think their build quality has improved since the early days. If I was in the market for a TV this is not what I would consider a deal. No way would I pay this for a refurbished TV when the sale price for a new one is about the same. I would wait 2.5 months for the Black Friday pre sale and pick up a new TV with the latest features for the same money. |

I continue to be amazed how TV prices continue to drop at such a quick rate. If you need a tv now, buy it. I love both of my Vizio's. I paid $800 for a 42 inch just a few years ago. And that was a slickdeal at the time. Now you can get 32 inches for under $200. Awesome. Seems like that is just about the bottom, doesn't it?

I received the TV, it was used/abused for sure. My three years Samsung looks better than this. The worst, there are two boxes and no UPC label can be found anywhere on or inside the boxes. Good luck with the rebate and I am returning this.

Look under UPS label
I'm very happy so far. You just have to be willing to hunt for the label.

You are right. It is under the UPS label. I am taking it back and thanks! |

Here's a heads up if you are running into problems with accessing the rebate forms...
If you try and access http://4myrebate.com/?oc=TD-6789 it takes you to a generic search page and when you search for TD-6789, it says it can't be found. (not to mention an SSL cert error too) You have to make sure you enter WWW before 4myrebate.com. It's a tactic to try and make people think it's no longer valid or just give up on the rebate so they get more money. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. USE THIS LINK: https://www.4myrebate.com/?oc=TD-6789 |
