Yeah. Brrrrrr! Cold, considering I got mine for $449 a week ago at Staples (and maybe $349 if the Rebate gods are smiling). And that has a 750 GB hd with a FAR Windows 8 upgrade (not $15 like at NewEgg).

Edit: Was cold before the rebate was found. Now, pretty good.

I like to buy

14" LED 1400 x900, not glossy
3rd Gen CPU, HD 4000 is fine
HDD or HDD with 32GB SSD
4GB is okay (i can upgrade to 16GB later)
less than 4lbs for $600

screen quality is the biggest problem with these ultra books or these cheap laptops ...

Not for you. But for me and for any gamers it's worth it. Most laptop don't even care to have a dedicated GPU. Only a few $1000+ one and Alienware has them. So for $600 with GT 630M is a good price for someone like me.

Refurb Lenovo units from the outlet with second gen i5s and i7s had geforce 555m graphics cards with 1GB video ram for $550 yesterday. Picked up two for friends who wanted budget gaming laptops. I suppose new and 3rd gen makes this a good deal. Same Z series too.

700 Total SSD's handled between two jobs. Plextor M3s, M5s, Crucial M4s, Intel 320s, and Samsung 470/830s are reliable. 2 M4 failure among ~200 of them. Sandforce Sata II controlled drives, 6 RMAs among ~175 units. There, now you know why I post like I do, professional, personal experience.
