Shipping is definitely too slow, or was for me. Otherwise I would be getting one of these. I cancelled a couple weeks ago because I didn't want to wait.

I don't remember the actual date, but when I originally ordered around the 4th the site said estimated ship date was something like 9/8. Then I placed the order and it changed to 9/10. Annoying but not a big deal, but then it changed again to 9/16. At that point I'd had enough and canceled. It literally took me 3 1/2 hours to cancel my order because they don't answer their phone and don't want to cancel online (though that is how I finally managed to cancel).

Keep in mind that's just to ship it out. It takes another 3 days minimum up to a few weeks to actually be delivered from what I've heard.

You can save cart and then open it through regular lenovo site after clicking through discover cash back. Not sure whether it works or not but it's worth a try.

this is a reasonable price for these specs.

core i7 base $600 + 150 gpu + 100 fhd lcd + 25 bluray. = yeah, that's about the right price.

build quality? doesn't matter as long as you don't drop it with your butter fingers.

USB 3.0? Any more info on specs?

I didn't actually get this deal myself, but if you can't combine shopdiscover with b&n I'd recommend just going through shopdiscover. B&N only saves you $20 from the regular price, but it's good for people without a discover card.

Dell has the same spec for same or less price, i dont quite see how this is a slickdeal

not even close.

this has a killer GTX660 graphics card, 1080p screen, and bluray.

15R is not even in the same class.

this definitely doesn't appear to be possible, as the domains are different. I added to cart it's i2.com but going through discover takes me to lenovo...

going discover is definitely the way to go if you've got it!

but if you don't upromise also has 5% off which still comes out a little cheaper than this after cashback.
