Lenovo occasionally has deals on that through the B&N site. I picked up an M4600 for $750 shipped a few months ago. M4700 and M6700 are out. HP also has deals on their elitebooks through their outlet website.

I should also add that contrary to popular opinion and the opinion of Lenovo CSRs (idiots) the laptop runs great with 16gb of ram as well. I picked up that 2x8gb G.Skill PC12800 deal from newegg a few weeks ago, popped it in and it runs stable and uses all of it.

I'm pretty happy with my purchase. You might notice a difference in speed, but on the plus side you'll get better battery life with 5400 rpm. I was planning on upgrading to a SSD in the future, so i'd rather pay less now . As for why no one is noticing this deal, I have no idea!

How does the screen compare to FHD in Lenovo T530? Anyone knows?

I would hesitate jumping in on this offer. I think we will be able to get a full-fledged Thinkpad (not an Ideapad) with similar specs at around this price if we just wait until Black Friday.

Because there is typo on Amazon saying the screen is 1366 x 768 pixels, but then if you scroll further down, you'll see that the screen is glorious Full HD. And if you read the reviews, one guy actually confirms that is indeed a typo.
