i'm still debating on c910 vs c920, my computer can handle the resources needed, any other alternatives? i have 20mbps internet so that's no problem either, was looking for something under 60

The 910 and 920 would look the same in video chat. The difference, as yo know, is that the 910 relies on the computer to do compression, but the 920 does the compression on-board. Either way, the video is compressed before it's sent over chat.

That's a good price. The cheapest I've seen it before was $75. If you're planning on shooting in 1080P you better have a computer with a major resources.

Staples has the C310 in store on sale for $19.99 in the 9/2 weekly flyer. only does 720P but you can't videochat on skype in 1080P unless the other person does also.

I've been reading some reviews that said there were a lot of focus issues and that it wasn't really stereo as it claims it's actually mono audio.

i really should pull the trigger, since no tax in CA. Using a 1.3mp Rosewill webcam i bought yearsssssssss ago, probably will be big improvement

be careful !!! the c920 actually has a 3 megapixal matrix, the "15 MP" shots are just 3mp pictures being software enchanced!
