[Resolved] Front Page Quickview feature disabled?

Yup, busted.

No "quickview," the blue bar just acts as a regular link to the (permadeal) thread.

Happened once yesterday for me in simple mode.

Working fine here.. We did have issues with javascript yesterday that would have broken it temporarily (my fault) but it should be working now.

Windows 7, latest Chrome.

1) The QuickView misbehavior is seen with Windows XP SP3 and FF 3.6.28

2) Forum pages won't display with Win XP/IE7, for example...

Try throwing those URLs at a cross platform tool.
Head over to http://browsershots.org/ and submit, say, http://slickdeals.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=9 (Hot Deals).

Several MSIE failures. (Fine by me, as long as we get my FF working 100% )

3.6 is a little old. Is there a reason you're sticking to such an old browser?

Oh, come on! If Firefox 3 was a child, it would still be in diapers!

The add-ons are the problem, some essentials didn't make the jump to V4.x. Got to make sure I still have access to info stored by 3.x add-ins and can duplicate the workflow...

But I have one less reason to force an upgrade, I see that you have fixed the QuickView feature for FF 3.6, -thumbsup-

But it's not a child, it's a web browser, and 2yrs9mos is very old for a browser - it's nearly as old as IE8 (ok so I was exaggerating a little with 6/7, but still)

It's up to, what, 14 or 15 already?

Beta releases don't count

Besides, aren't they releasing a new version every 10 days?

"Firefox 17.0esr" - I didn't realize the developers had caved and committed to an Extended Support release... wow. First with FF10, next will be 17. That should simplify life a little...
