Great deal, was omw to buy a sony at costco, which would have been $107 with tax. This @$88, and I hear better things about panasonic brp than the sonys.

This is CNET's blu-ray player of the year. I usually don't put a whole lot of faith in their reviews, but at the same time, I don't think they would give a great review to a garbage player. It might not be the best, but for around $100, it probably won't let you down. I think most of the bad reviews on Amazon had to do with the Netflix app, but I think it was fixed with a firmware update recently.

This has been on my wish list on Amazon for a couple of months now, and I pulled the trigger on it today. Thanks OP. Nice price, since Amazon credit is like cash to me.
