720p would be basically unusable, 1080p would probably be okay, although you may feel some lag and it'll still be fuzzier and less color accurate than most monitors. |

H-IPS panel and low input lag?
Edit: Obviously not , this HDTV uses cheap parts.
This should use a VA panel unless it's super low end. If you feel lag that means it has a high input lag UNLIKE a name brand HDTV ( LG 32LD450). Last edited by dubleo; 09-03-2012 at 07:00 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Also how does it compare to the IPS panel monitors and HDTVs that you own? Did you calibrate the color? |

I would be willing to give this a shot, but only if I could easily return it locally. Buying a questionable product sight unseen could be a big PITA.
For those who can't tell a difference- you either must have low expectation, bad vision, or a bad large set you are comparing this too. I have 2 large high end sets, and I can EASILY tell a major difference- I still use a cheaper set in my bedroom, but there is a huge difference. |

Oh, by the way, you do know that approximately 70% of all "reviews" posted on the internet are fake, don't you? |
|
|
I've seen that happen a lot with Apple laptops since a lot of people don't know about the hardware. |

![]() I actually considered this TV before it was posted. The flicker issue was mentioned in more than one review. (Best Buy also has the TV same price) I lean toward the bad or average reviews being more accurate on this one. Some people notice more problems than others. Some people have a problem and don't even know it. I try to take all the reviews into consideration. Also, someone mentioned Sony guts, but I can't find anything to verify that. I am all for cheap, but only if its worth the price. |

For example : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...00_s00_i00 That one was $299.99 and it has an IPS Alpha LED Panel. Last edited by dubleo; 09-03-2012 at 08:31 AM.. |
