I have this as boot drive for Windows 8 test drive. It's crazy fast! Boot time is 5 seconds after bios. Shutdown is about 1 second!

OP, that review is for the 720 model which is the most expensive one. This deal is a 320 model.

I cannot see the price difference for the 720 with just encyprtion.
They might use higer binned Nand on the 720??
Anyone chime in if they have and other reasons for the difference between the 320 & 720?

The 320 uses asynchronous NAND. The 720 has toggle mode NAND. Asynchronous can be slower in certain circumstances. I don't have time to add links, but people can google the difference and decide whether it's important for their particular situation.

You can get better drives for the same price every other week
