This has been confirmed to work for the Optimus V, Elite, Wildfire, and Venture. The Triumph and a few other devices released before 5/27 should work. The One V will not work.

Go to virginmobileusa.com, click "manage my account", then click "change plans". On the bottom, there should be a link that says "don't see the plan you want?" click that and you can switch to the $25 plan. This includes unlimited text, data, and 300 minutes.

Not sure if this is a glitch or limited time special, so hurry! If you want to activate one of the aforementioned phones, then activate it, don't pay for the $35 plan, and then switch to the $25 plan in the account page.

Tried it today and it didn't work. Is this dead??

It doesn't show the "additional plan options"
Looks to be done. I just activated a new phone, no additional options.

Where's the best place to get refills now? CallingMart is charging $25.75 for a $25 card now! It was $24.75 last week. Lame as hell.

Check this site, they have it for $24.50. I've used them and they were pretty good.

Yes. You can use any of the top up cards in any denominations. Even the non-monthly ones will work.

they knew that Im sure and pretended to have a glitch to get a bunch of new subs from sites like this thinking they are beating the system and getting a deal.

many will take the 35 because they paid money for a new phone.

If your looking for a discount on Top Up Cards try this. First you need a Red Card credit card from Target. Second, for every 5 prescriptions you fill at Target Pharmacy they send you a 5% discount card that can be used almost anywhere in the store.
$35 top up card minus 5% = $33.25 minus 5% =

$31.59

per card out the door!

No tax charged and I even live in California. Don't quite know why.
