First time posting! hope this is not a repeat (i searched)
Was getting my 300$ cashback for the Cash rewards card, and i added it to my checking account for a 10% bonus making it 330$! will be handy for all the SD people that went in for the 300 or 400 dollar BofA Cash rewards cards.

you can get a 10% customer bonus when you redeem your rewards into an eligible Bank of America® checking or savings account.

GO TO YOUR ACCOUNT ON YOUR CASH REWARDS CARD AND CLICK ON "VIEW MY REWARDS" TO SHOW YOU THE ADVERTISEMENT AND "REDEEM NOW"

So if I redeem say $450 to my BoA Checking account, do I get taxed on the full $495 amount, or just the 10% bonus ($45)?

Yeah, I saw the option but just took the $300;
opening a BoA account wasn't worth the $30 bump;
they all seemed to have fees
or need a lot of cash on deposit to become free..

I forgot about any 1099 issue,
assumed this is like getting bonus miles, not 1099'd.

There is an electronic boa account that has no fees unless u physically use the bank. Use atms and online banking and there is no fee at all.

Interesting, I thought I gave it a good look and seem to have missed that...

(RTFA) the article seems to clearly state that 1099 will only get triggered over $600, so for me I'd barely have that..
$404.50 rewards for signing up
~$40 for the 10%
$100 account opening bonus (assuming PP/b2b counts for that)
gets close, but i should be fine.

Has anyone had trouble getting the 100$ stmt opening bonus?

the 10% is mentioned a lot, i assume that's why this thread has all the TDs? that's my best guess

does this include not being able to call them and talk on the phone?

anyone know if there are any offer codes to add when signing up for ebanking?
