I was going to do this and its a limit of $40 so you can really get 2 offers no problem.

but will the discount when combined with a filter disqualify the rebate?

I assume it will work because the combo savings are autozone savings? can anyone shed light on this.. If people have submitted before please share your success especially when combined with store savings.

Advance auto has been doing this for years.

Last time I went in, they marked it down in a book with other people's names who had returned their oil, but you are probably right, they don't send it in. However they do keep it at the store.

I see the rebate started in may and I did my (2) submissions in June. However, I mailed mine to department 33830-06 and this form says to mail it to 33830-07. Anyone had success in multiple rebate submissions?

That has to do with Govt and who is recycling. Having worked at a quick lube we had to do the same.

Did this deal tonight at Advanced Auto Parts and it's only $19.99 + sales tax. Ordered online, then submitted the rebate online after picking up the order and getting the store receipt. Nothing to mail in, easy as could be.

Also did the deal last month at AAP and received that $20 rebate today.

Seems AAP is a better deal (after tax) than AZ.

Well you get an oil filter with this deal that you don't get with the AAP one. For me, AZ has 5w20 oil, but I'm stuck with 5w30 oil at AAP. Also I upgraded to the Bosch filter for an extra $2. It's supposed to be a pretty good filter, probably good for 7500-10k oil changes.

Also the last time I dropped off oil at AZ, I just left it on a cart, no one took down any names. Never had anyone take down names when dropping off oil.

Only drawback is that this is the same AZ offer that's been running since May, so if you've used up your two, you'll have to use a different address for the rebate. AAP has had a new offer every month.
