Yes, in order to print from your iPod, phone, i.e wirelessly, you need a wireless printer.

I am having the Coupons.com Print 3 to a page problem. It cuts off the 3rd coupon's barcode! I have lost a couple good coupons this way. Is there any way to fix this?

Any chance someone knows how to turn on fast quality printing (lower quality) on a mac (10.5.8) for coupons.com coupons? I tried changing the CUPS settings (for both grayscale and fast printing) and my coupons would print at like 3 times the size and in the middle of the page and half cut off... All I did was change those 2 options wherever I could in the CUPS options, not sure why it messed up the size and positioning.

I uninstalled and reinstalled my printer and that reset/fixed my settings. I found the black cartridge option in the printer utilities, so that solved grayscale....but there's no option for fast quality there.

Usually you control the settings in the printer dialog box.

However all printer dialogs are different based on the printer you are using. Try to find the settings or something similar when you hit print but before you commit to printing (on something other than Qs).

I had problems with smart source yesterday, it totally ruined my prints - the lines of text were overlapping, it cut off one side but I had no problems with the PC.

Can anyone recommend a good cheap wireless printer that can use cheap ink? All I'd use it for is printing coupons. I'd prefer HP since you can print from apple devices but any brand would do. Thanks

EDIT: Actually I don't even need a new printer if I can get my Lexmark Z715 to work on my Windows 8 laptop. I can't find a Windows 8 driver for it. Is there any possible way to get my printer to work on it? Should I install Windows 7?

Just got my new Brother printer in the mail today and so so SO disappointed that it doesn't print coupons off my iPads and iPhones! The whole point of getting the new printer was this
I have two identical Mac laptops, and one of them would print all Java required coupons (SS, RP, etc.) and one wouldn't. They both have the same software, same browsers, etc., yet #1 would always say that there is a "missing plug in" and not print anything. So I am constantly missing on one set of coupons I could have if #1 laptop worked.
Now the new printer gives me all the headache in the world, too.

I'm pretty sure HP is the only company making printers compatible with iPads. Gotta look for a feature called AirPrint, IIRC.

When I was choosing a new printer, I was looking for it to be compatible with air printing. Who would have guessed coupons.com would use something different...
Ok, so guess what? My husband just took our very very old HP out of the garage and connected it somehow through the router... so now everything prints, including coupons.com
I am speechless. All I could ask him was, why did you have to wait for me to buy a new one and only THEN actually get off the couch to do it in less than a minute

rydergal, do you by any chance know why one of my Macs prints off SS coupons and the other one doesn't?
Also, printing RP and SS off an iPad is not an option because of Java, right?

Just curious, is your HP printer a "wireless" one? I have an HP printer that isn't wireless but is connected to my wireless network. My iPod Touch doesn't find it.

No, it is not wireless. (HP 4400)
I think my husband connected it via AirPort (Mac router) using a USB cable. I can ask him, if you'd like.
I don't have an iPod, so can't comment on that, sorry. Just tried both iPhones and iPads and they found the printer.
