OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner User Reviews

Hi, i been searching for a good OBD2 diagnostic scanner, Something with at-least some bells and whistles preferably under $100.00. i would prefer the hard wire kind meaning i don't want the blue-tooth or cell app type.

I am looking for honest feed backs & reviews from people who actually have & use OBD2 diagnostic scanners. Please give me your personal experience Pros & Cons about a particular brand. Thanks

I recommend these features as I find them useful, but you aren't going to get that for $100 though.

Stand alone ODB2 with some bells and whilstles are what mechanic shops buy ...I think they cost thousands not hundrets. for 100 -200 you will only get software to run on your laptop / perhaps portable phone

I have one of the cheap harbor freight ones, I think I only paid about $30 for it new. It works well for the price. It pulls the codes with a brief description. Usually more than enough to get you started in the right direction. Seraching the pulled codes online usually does the trick.
