Hubby needs a good pair of shoes - dressy - for work. Any recommendations?

Nordstroms (or any big department store) is a good place to start. Shoes vary WIDELY in cost & quality, and sadly, high cost does not always correlate with high quality. I'd say a good price range would be $75-150.

I personally like:

- Kenneth Cole - pretty sylish, middle of the road sturdy and not outrageously expensive.
- Brass Boot are also very nice - more conservative style, rather sturdy, but some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
- Cole Haan are traditional style, very very sturdy, but a little pricier.

Thank you! I appreciate your advice. I think $100 is a good amount for shoes but I want them to last and be comfortable. Cole Haan are good looking shoes but I can't spend over $200 on a pair of shoes

From what I have heard Cole Haan and Florsheim are very comfy. Am currently using dockers and clarks and have found them to be a good mix of comfort and price. Good luck :-)

Thanks, doctordude. We just updated hubby's wardrobe for work and are getting 2 pairs of work shoes soon. Nordstroms, get ready to take our money.

My boyfriend walks a ton for work and he loves Dr Scholl's Remy II Oxford Shoes. They run between $25-$40 depending on where we get them. We usually stock up when Walmart puts them on clearance. He goes through a pair about every 13 months.
