Democrat Convention Chat Thread The polls were not skewed, biased, oversampled or wrong. I was. There was no wave, no landslide, I was wrong about that too. Nate Silver is the gold standard of polling analysis.

Democrat official from Cali that likened Paul Ryan to Josef Goebels was sent home err....I mean he had to go back to Cali for a scheduled root canal. Just a scheduling conflict.
Ive been reading that references to God are no longer present in the Democrat platform. Also possibly statements about support for Israel have been cut. Last edited by EscapeVelo; 09-04-2012 at 08:27 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

For political conventions, Twitter may soon trump TV TV viewership for last week's Republican National Convention dropped sharply from 2008, suggesting interest in this presidential race falls short of some past contests. But the convention was a hit online and on social networks, the latest evidence of the political conversation's gradual migration from traditional media to the Web. Both parties have offered live streaming feeds of the conventions online, and the RNC's convention YouTube channel received 2.8 million video views. Several TV and print news organizations are also providing streaming video and opportunities for online engagement around the convention through their websites and Facebook pages. Search giant Google also has created dedicated convention pages. Romney's acceptance speech peaked at 14,300 tweets per minute to make it the most tweeted political event of 2012. The speech eclipsed Obama's State of the Union address in January, which drew about 14,100 tweets a minute. |

Well this is unfortunate. They're cancelling the outdoor stadium and downsizing to the convention center with 1/4 the capacity.
50,000 people who were going to attend are now going to have to stay at home or watch elsewhere. Plus, they're saying there was a 20% chance of rain. I don't know about y'all, but when it's 10-20% in my area, that pretty much means it's going to be dry as a bone. The truth: Management at IRS can blame themselves and how they have chaotic and poor management, but God-forbid you, or I, or anybody else in America gets audited and doesn't have their ducks in order and s***-together, your ass is going to court or jail.
Shout out to Congressman Mike Kelly for stating it as it is... Link [realclearpolitics.com] |
