That's how my mother always did it. I pay online when I get the bill. Same difference. Wouldn't ever consider carrying a balance on a store card.

The great thing about Kohl's is they only require a portion of the bill to be paid without incurring an interest charge. Pay a third of your balance and there will be no fee for that billing cycle. If I go crazy during a 30% sale, at least I know I can pay 1/3 of the balance each month till it's paid off without getting hit with interest.

that only applied to certain states and was discontinued in several. My account was opened under those terms, but now new accounts in my state are not given that special amendment to their cardholder agreement. though they do keep "extending" that every year so far for my account.

not trying to threadcr&p as i love kohls too but it just remains shady to me if a store says here's a great sale but wait you must open a credit card to participate in it. it pretty much is like a warehouse club then or private sale. i smell a lawsuit coming within a year or two...

The $50 purchase to received $10 Kohls cash is that determined on the price before or after I use my 30% code. I have item that is $70, when I take off the 30% my net price is $49.

Sale and discount are two things. Sale prices apply to everyone. There's not always a coupon for non-cardholders (usually weekends only), the added benefit of having the card is that there's always a coupon available.

Add Macy's and Sears to the lawsuit list then as they have cardholder specials all the time (though more restrictive on what the items/categories the % applies to). Probably HD, Lowes and numerous other retailers can be counted too. Amazon Visa cardholders got that Kindle 40% off deal in August, but since I don't have the Amazon Visa card . . . I'll sue?

KC is calculated on the amount after the % is taken off. You still will earn $10, as they issue KC even if your total is less than $2 difference to the $50 increment.

Does anyone have a scan of the 30% coupon? I had one but it accidentally went back to GA with my mother in law in her purse I've got to go shopping tonight for my daughters homecoming dress and I'm hoping if I can bring in a copy and tell them my story they'll take pity on me....

To kohls experts, what happens to Kohls cash if you return partial order to store? Does that invalidate kohls cash or gets deducted from refund? If so, what will be a good way to exchange items (in case size doesn't fit)? TIA & will rep.
