Been wanting wireless earbuds, but lack of any reviews makes me weary.

Seriously though I'm a big fan of bt stereo headsets and I've bought a couple of duds in my time. Including these horrible things [amazon.com] and this Plantronics set [amazon.com] (which is actually okay as long as you aren't moving your head around a lot).

For the gym I prefer this set [amazon.com] and for everyday commuting I haven't found a better pair than my LGs which actually go around your neck [amazon.com]. I actually bought a 2nd pair of the LGs when I saw them on sale @ NewEgg in case they stop making them.

Disclaimer: I'm no audiophile - sound quality (unless it's REALLY bad) doesn't play much of a factor for me. If I can hear my music and it goes up loud enough to drown out the train noise (or the other knuckleheads at my gym + the broadcast shitty pop music they pipe in there) I'm pretty happy. Form factor, how often the wires get tangled up, or whether they fall out of my ears or not all play much bigger parts in whether I like a headset. My biggest complaint about the LGs is that the earbud wires stick way out to the sides of my head and look a bit goofy.

I will say the LGs have great call quality too, as do the Motorolas I use at the gym. The Plantronics were okay but people had trouble hearing me which I kind of expected from a set so small. The other big Motorolas were just a shitshow from day one and I don't think I ever used them to make a call.

Anyway. If I could find a few people who've tried these and said (a) they don't fall apart within twelve seconds of taking them out of the package; (b) the volume on them goes up to 11; and (c) the earpieces aren't too heavy, I might bite on this.

Anyone own one and willing to comment?

I also have a Mot set - but are too big for just wearing through the day so not a big fan. I do like my LG's but think that by using nearly daily - and multiple times of pulling the earpiece out of its holder when putting on my seatbelt (shoulder) I've got a short in them. Wondering if I should wait on another deal on those (or take the set I got for my wife who has used them very little) - or pull the trigger on these...

I received the Air-Fi AF12 headphones this weekend. I LOVE them so far. They are awesome sounding. I had the Jaybird Freedoms which I sold on ebay. These fit sooooo much better. I could not find any reviews out there for these headphones, so I thought I'd be the first.

Not about sure about OP's headphones but I've been using http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00...308&sr=8-2 for a while and sound quality is decent. The lows and mids are fine, the highs are kinda low but you could fix that on your audio player's equalizer if that bothers you much. All in all I've been very satisfied, they have a decent range and cost less $$.

They are sold on eBay directly through MEE electonics for $49.99 http://compare.ebay.com/like/1307...s&var=sbar so it is basically a $10 off, not enough for me to bite!

If you look at the description of the ebay posting, it indicates the model as M9 Black, which is selling for $29.99 on manufacturer's http://www.meelec.com/MEElectronics_M9P_Earphones_for_iPhone_iPod_p/earphone-m9p-bk-mee.htm [meelec.com]. I guess you have to be careful on ebay to make sure you actually get what appears to be on sale.
