Need an alignment for my car - any coupons?

My car is overdue for an alignment, anyone have any deals? Bonus points if its for the lifetime alignment from Firestone. Thanks!

Can't you use this coupon for the lifetime alignment? It says 'any alignment' and does not mention the lifetime alignment in the exclusions.

This coupon worked fine for me yesterday... You can't beat the lifetime alignment for $170 after coupon.

Depends, but overall yes. You and the OP, by your names, clearly have performance cars. If you want a "proper" alignment, you go to a race shop, and they will do a full race alignment. You know you're in the right place when they ask you how much you weigh, so that they can throw the proper ballast in the driver's seat, with the gas tank as full as when you're usually on the autocross track or road race course. This kind of alignment, along with a corner balance at the same time, could cost $200, but that kind of attention to tuning is essential if you're trying to eke out every bit of performance on your car (for example, on a base model Camaro or Mustang, I'd just do a street alignment at any shop, but with a new Mustang Boss or Camaro 1LE, I'd take the time and pay). Any smaller errors or imperfections in tuning would come out in a car that's you're driving at well over the speed limit, taking corners faster than my grandma drives on the highway, whereas those tuning imperfections on my girlfriend's Civic, for example, would never be felt.

If you're on a budget, you can do the fronts only for like $40-$60, because the back doesn't go out of alignment as much or as often. You can sometimes get lucky with chain places like Firestone. We got a lifetime alignment there, and after moving, the one near our house has a tech that's deep into the VW scene. Has a 1980's Jetta with a full early 2000's VR6 conversion, and he'll do anything. Adjust camber plates and/or pillowball joints for you, adjustable LCA's, etc. Some Firestones won't mess with your car if it has more adjustability than stock, or will charge you more.

Thanks! My Mustang has averaged 26 miles per year since 2008, it will not need an alignment anytime soon. The alignment is for a 2000 Jetta TDI. Shouldn't need that many alignments while I own the car but the lifetime alignment will pay for itself even if I need just two.
