Windows based cell phones, do you own one? What can you tell me?

You use the Rooms feature? I really wish I could use that feature more...but I do use it for a family calendar.

So far, so good. Well, at least that's the case with mine and my son's phones. My husband is on his third Lumia 822. His first and second kept shutting themselves down randomly. Verizon replaced them but only with refurbs. Can't say we're happy about that but after wasting DAYS fighting them, we gave up and accepted the refurb. He has only had the third one for a week so we'll see how it goes.

There are apps out there I would like to have but they aren't available. No big deal, though I do hope they show up sometime in the next year.

We do use the family room for pictures and our schedules/appts. It's great for stuff like my youngest son's basketball games and letting me know my husband's flight schedule.

There's still a ton of stuff we haven't figured out with these phones but what we do know, we love. The camera takes pretty good pictures and great video.

Hopefully they are factory referbs...that just means they were caught for something on the factory floor and never got into a customer's hands. I got a referb from AT&T for my last phone when my Samsung died after about 5 months. It is still going strong.

My sister had to get a new Lumia though...only had her first one for 3 weeks. Her screen just went black and wouldn't turn on. (Turns out, you just have to push Volume Down + Power for ~5 seconds to break it out of that. She didn't tell me she had an issue until it was too late though, and she had returned it.) Restarting would be annoying.

Got anything you do use on a daily basis? I'm always looking for a new resource for my phone. I use Weave as a daily news reader. Also I use MyFitnessPal daily to keep up on my calorie count as part of my work place group resolution.

Yep, the automatic push of the schedule is awesome. I do have that set up for me and my wife on her iPhone. Through that, I can even send her reminders and timed notifications. We use it for Dr's appointments mostly. I broke my foot in Oct so lots of Dr and rehabs.
