Color Inspection Camera $99 at Home Depot
Home Depot [homedepot.com] has a Whistler inspection camera. It has a wireless, detachable 2.4" color screen, 9mm camera with LEDs at the tip and 3 accessories that attach to the end of the camera. It also has video out capabilities and includes the video out cable. Model: WIC-2409C
I purchased it and used it briefly. Here are my thoughts:
Monitor:
The screen is only 2.4". A little on the small side but not bad. Resolution is pretty good for a $100 camera. Not that grainy. The monitor has buttons for Power, image rotation, brightness and contrast. It has (2) 3.5mm jacks on the side. One is used to charge the internal lithium battery. The monitor can be used while it is charging as long as it is docked on the camera handle. But you can not charge the monitor battery and use it wirelessly at the same time. You have to have a charged battery and unplug the charger to use the monitor with it not attached to the camera handle. No big deal. The monitor also has a jack for the included video out cable. It comes with a 3.5 mm to composite cable.
Camera: Uses 4 AA batteries, not included. It has 4 tiny LEDs on the tip. It has a rotary power/LED brightness adjustment on the handle. This lets you control the brightness of the LEDs. Dim them down if viewing something right in front of the camera, brighten them if you need to see a few feet in front of the camera. Maximum distance the the LEDs were effective at producing a visible image was about 6'. So you aren't looking across the top of an entire room's drop ceiling but you can see down a wall's stud cavity. The camera is only 9mm wide. This is pretty small for a low cost camera. The cheaper ones are usually 12mm. So you don't have to have a very big hole/opening to get the camera in.
The box claims the following:
3.3 ft flexible camera tube.
Water, oil, diesel and gas proof camera.
33' wireless transmission range.
It includes a small mirror that clips on the end of the camera for viewing at 90 degrees. It also comes with a small hook to grab your wire or pull string and a small magnet that seems powerful enough to grab a small washer or nut. You can use any 1 of these attachments at one time. It also comes with a mesh storage bag and wall wart charger for the monitor.

Overall, for $99, I am very happy with it. Build quality seems decent. Not the same as the $300 ones, but decent for occasional use. The flexible camera tube is detachable from the handle but HD did not sell an extension. One might be available online.
WalMart has if for $129. Amazon and Radio Shack both have it for about $140.
I shop at HD daily and this is the first time I have seen this in the store. It was part of its own 2' X 2' floor display by the contractor checkout. It also looks available online with free shipping.
