Just an FYI - I read a ton of the reviews and a good percentage of them talk about either fan or dead pixel issues 11-15 months in. Apparently Acer isn't very cooperative and replacement parts aren't readily available.
Shame because it looks like it's not a bad deal otherwise. My favorite multi-post reply of 2008:

So it's Nvidia 3D Ready. Does this mean it can only play nVidia 3D (PC) or can I play my PS3 games in 3D using this beast?

I've had this projector for almost 2 years now. 2D is good and 3D is great. This is the best bang for your buck.
