How many minutes will I get to call India plus 25 countries* ? What is the validity of the pack?

Validity of the pack is 30 days.

To know the India plus 25 countries* calling minutes refer the below table;

Pack Value Validity Talk time on Local Access (India plus 25 countries*)
USD 15.99 30 days 1600 mins

I have been using Reliance to call India for a while. And yes quality is good. But I did recently move to AVTMobile application on the Iphone. Unfortunately I don't think it's on Android. AVTMobile provides a similar service. It's 1 cent per minute to India , which is again similar to 1600 minutes for $16. It also has similar rates to other countries as well. From my experience the quality is same as Reliance. (Unlike other crappy applications like Viber). The reason I moved though was AVT has a couple of advantages over Reliance.

1. No Expiration of minutes or dollars at the end of the month. You pay as you go.
2. It has got a really good easy to use application for the Iphone. It imports all your numbers from your phonebook and the calling experience is same as you are calling someone locally. No hassles with pin and all the crap which goes along with it. The last time i checked, Reliance had a very crappy application.

Don't get me wrong. I have had a good experience with Reliance but I think AVT is better for ease and user experience and the rates and quality are very similar. Hence I went with the latter.

I would recommend you to try AVT for free first as i believe it gives you some signup bonus initially and you can check the quality of your call by using that amount. If that doesn't work great , then the above deal is definitely very good.

P.S. I am not sure about the signing bonus, I think you get that when someone invites you. I got an invitation and free $5 when I joined them the first time.

You can use Google Voice on android. It's 2 cents per min and you don't need to dial any numbers. You can set it to automatically use Google Voice when making international calls.

I go to my dialer, dial a number (or pick from contact list) and it directly dials. No hassle. I found the convenience and voice quality to be worth the extra .1 cents from reliance.

I don't think iphone can have seamless integration with google voice.

True. I would definitely try that if I had an Android phone. But I will still recommend AVT to an iphone user.And if I am paying 1 cent per call for the same quality on AVT mobile , I wouldn't want to spend an extra cent Smilie

Until now I had a good experience with AVT when it comes to voice quality and I haven't had any drop calls. So by spending 1cent per minute rather than 2, I am definitely saving around $15 a month if I use 1500 minutes in a month.

Fair Usage Policy: The Validity Pack shall be governed by the Fair Usage Policy of 1600 minutes per Validity Pack. The Validity Pack Customer’s shall be allowed to use the Validity Pack either (i) till the 1600 minutes has been consumed by the Validity Pack Customer’s or (ii) the validity of the Validity Pack has reached, whichever is earlier. In case the Validity Pack Customers make calls using (1) only Toll Free Access or (2) Toll Free Access and Local Access both, the Fair Usage Policy will vary accordingly.
